The Space Between 14x20 Mixed Media on Paper
$210.00

Created in a moment where nothing felt wrong but nothing felt quite right, The Space Between holds the quiet ache of existing in the middle. Brown, purple, and black washes intertwine with stark pastel lines, echoing the tension between connection and loneliness, clarity and confusion, holding on and letting go.

This piece was born from the feeling of having deep friendships yet still feeling alone, of needing to create to stay afloat, of unraveling privately while moving through the world as if everything is fine. It captures the emotional hum beneath the surface — the place where anxiety lives, where longing sits, where we wait for something to shift.

An invitation to witness the moments we rarely name, yet all know: the liminal space where life feels both too full and not enough.

This piece emerged in pure flow—an act of listening and allowing the great creator to move through me. I chose the palette, but the rest unfolded with its own energy, layer upon layer.

When I stepped back, I saw two images within it: a fearless woman, strong and defiant in her dance, and a phoenix rising from fire. Both felt like self-portraits of my highest self—expressions of freedom, grace, and resilience in the midst of burning down what no longer serves.

Hanging above my bed, The Rising is the closest I have come to painting my spirit: flight, momentum, radiance, jubilation, and strength. It is an abstract self-portrait of possibility and hope—an image of what it means to rise.

The Blooms Beneath 14x20 Mixed Media on Paper
The Blooms Beneath 14x20 Mixed Media on Paper
$210.00

The Blooms Beneath began with three tulips—forms I’ve painted so many times they live in my muscle memory. They were the quiet foundation of the piece, the familiar shapes I always return to. And then I let them go. I layered watercolor, pen, and oil pastels over the blooms, allowing the colors to run wild, soften, blur, and dissolve their edges.

This piece is about loosening what once felt rigid. About letting beauty become fluid. About trusting what emerges when control gives way to intuition. The tulips still exist beneath the surface, softened and transformed, much like the parts of ourselves we grow beyond but never truly leave behind.

An invitation to witness the gentle unraveling of what we know — and the unexpected grace that rises from it.

Surrender and Flow is a meditation on being—an exploration of what happens when we release control and allow life, and art, to move through us. Inspired by the power of extraordinary friendship and a charmed way of seeing the world, this piece honors the beauty in letting go.

Magenta, titanium white, seafoam green, and silver move across the canvas with hints of purple flickering through. Layers suggest shifting forms—perhaps a horse, perhaps a unicorn—reminding us that when we surrender, unexpected visions and magic emerge.
