Rituals of Unraveling is a mixed-media exploration of what happens when we loosen our grip—on our art, on our expectations, on ourselves.
Created during a season of travel, upheaval, and deep inner questioning, these works begin with familiar forms—tulips painted from muscle memory—and then surrender to water, movement, and intuition. Colors bleed, lines blur, and what was once recognizable dissolves into something truer, rawer, and more alive.
Each piece is a small act of letting go: of rigidity, of certainty, of the stories we cling to when life feels both too much and not enough.
These paintings hold the emotional spaces we often move through quietly—loneliness in the midst of connection, the ache beneath the surface, the desire to create even when everything feels off. They are invitations to soften, to witness what is underneath, and to trust the beauty that emerges in the unraveling.
