The Expansion Collection
The Expansion Collection is the first full body of work to fully integrate the new style I’ve been exploring—mixed media layers of plaster of Paris, ground marble, limestone, and sand infused with acrylic on canvas. These textured, luminous abstracts are as much about feeling as they are about form.
This collection was born in a threshold season of my life: after a cancer diagnosis, after the end of a five-year relationship, and in the midst of reclaiming my truest self. It holds the power of friendship and renewal. The alchemy of turning romantic love into deep resounding friendship and of reconnecting with friendships you thought were lost.
Expansion is about listening deeply to intuition. It is about shedding people-pleasing patterns and stepping fully into openness. It is about honoring grief while claiming joy. Every surface, every carved line, every gilded shimmer carries that intention: to expand into more of myself, and to invite you into the same.
This is art born from resilience, from trust, from the brave act of becoming. The pieces in this collection aren’t just paintings—they are portals into transformation, reminders that even after endings, there is always space to expand.
