Ripples of Delight – Limited Edition Silk Scarf

from $67.00

Some works begin in certainty. Others begin in the willingness to begin again.

Ripples of Delight emerged from a moment of return — a return to beauty, to curiosity, to the instinct to create even after a season of uncertainty.

The canvas once held a painting from one of my earliest abstract collections. I had attempted to transform it once already, but what appeared did not yet feel true. The piece rested in an unresolved state until a warm North Carolina spring day when the pull to paint — simply to make something beautiful — became undeniable.

I carried the canvas into the sunlight and began again.

A soft veil of white allowed the past to recede while still honoring the textures beneath it. I mixed a deep blue-violet from magenta and indigo and laid it across the surface, then reached for an entirely new tool in my practice: paint rollers found quietly waiting in the shed. Fields of magenta, fern green, and Carolina blue moved swiftly across the canvas in wide, generous sweeps.

Over these layers, I traced gestural lines of gold, silver, and iridescent pearl, allowing light itself to travel across the surface.

While creating this piece, I realized something about healing. Even after difficult seasons, even after fear and uncertainty, there can still be a visceral pull toward beauty — not as decoration, but as instinct.

A way of saying yes to life again.

Now reimagined in silk, Ripples of Delight carries the essence of that moment — when joy returns quietly, then begins expanding outward in widening circles.

Drape it around your shoulders, knot it at the neck, or tie it in your hair as a reminder that delight often begins gently, then grows.

A small ripple can change everything.

While each piece in the 2026 Signature Collection stands beautifully on its own, collecting all four reveals the full conversation between the works. When you order the complete set, you will receive a special signed 5x5 print — an exclusive companion piece created to live alongside the collection (Shipped Separately).

Crafted from luxuriously soft silk habotai, available in 26x26 and 36x36 inches, and presented in a keepsake box designed for both storage and gifting.

Each scarf is made to order. Please allow 3–4 weeks for fulfillment. We appreciate your patience and will keep you informed as your piece makes its way to you.
