Muted pink, green, yellow, blue, and white move across the canvas like fragments of a memory that can no longer be clearly recalled. Unlike the bolder works in this collection, Memory, Recolored looks back through the softening haze of time.
This piece holds the longing within nostalgia—the desire to return to a past we can no longer see without the present clouding our view. The colors remain, but time has shifted them. What we remember is no longer the moment exactly as it was, but the way it has been recolored by everything that came after.
When you purchase an original, if you don’t choose to pick it up from the studio you will be sent an additional invoice for shipping costs.
