This piece was created alongside Renewal during the same warm spring afternoon.
Painted outdoors in sunlight and wind, the process mirrored the larger work: an earlier painting layered over, allowing its history to remain beneath the surface.
Loose passages of violet, magenta, fern green, and Carolina blue create the foundation, while gestural movements of gold and silver sweep across the surface. The result feels energetic and alive, like color in motion.
If Renewal marks the return of vitality, Joy in Motion captures what follows — the simple momentum of being alive again.
