Part of the Spring Awakening Collection
I painted over a piece I liked but knew wasn’t fully there yet. What came through instead was bolder, more colorful, more alive. Swaths of violet, brown, yellows, light blues, and indigo move across the canvas with small traces of the earlier painting still peeking through beneath the surface.
For me, this piece is about letting go of good in order to make space for great. About no longer forcing anything to grow in bad soil. About recognizing when the path itself is trying to bloom beneath your feet and having the courage to follow it.
What To Know About Purchasing an Original:
When you purchase an original, if you don’t choose to pick it up from the studio you will be sent an additional invoice for shipping costs.
This piece is not framed (framed pictures are just to give you context of how the piece could look framed.)
