About Your Facilitators:


Bridget Bell (b. 1983) is a poet, educator, proofreader, and bartender. She teaches composition and literature at Durham Technical Community College, proofreads manuscripts for Four Way Books, and pours pints at Ponysaurus Brewery. Raised in the suburbs of Toledo, Ohio, she earned her MFA from Sarah Lawrence College. She resides in Durham, North Carolina.

She is also a survivor of postpartum depression and believes strongly in the healing power of art. All That We Ask of You Is to Always Be Happy is her debut collection. 

Alisha Wielfaert (b. 1982) is an artist, writer, yoga and meditation teacher, and creative guide based in Greensboro, North Carolina. She has been teaching yoga and mindfulness since 2008 and works at the intersection of visual art, intuition, and personal transformation through watercolor, painting, journaling, and contemplative practice. Alisha is the author of Little Failures, and her artwork and teaching invite people back into their bodies, their creative voice, and a more honest relationship with themselves. She believes creativity is not about talent or outcome, but about presence, process, and remembering what already lives within.
