What Settles 24x36 Acrylic On Canvas

$648.00

This piece was created during a winter storm, in a quiet house, using a canvas that already held another painting beneath it. Instead of carving back to something recognizable, I layered paint slowly until the work softened and settled into itself.

The colors—white, pale blue, dusty rose, soft green—arrived without force. The texture holds movement, but nothing insists on being named.

For me, this is what mending looks like in practice. Not erasing what came before, not fixing anything outright, but creating enough gentleness for calm to emerge. A nervous system finding neutrality. A moment where nothing needs to be decided yet.

This piece isn’t about transformation as spectacle. It’s about repair as atmosphere.
